1. Because UCSD is completely closed on Monday, Nov. 12, in honor of Vetereans Day, I WILL NOT BE HOLDING OR TAPING A CLASS SESSION. (In fact, I will not be holding a makeup at any time, due to UCSD regs. making it an untenable idea. I will have to tweak the class syllabus to allow for one fewer class. Stay tuned for more details.
2. I will hold office hours BY PRIOR APPOINTMENT only on Monday, Nov. 12th. If you wish to see me sometime during 2 PM and 4:30 PM, please email me at gsmith@cwsl.edu
3. I have finally completed the instructions for the Short Paper. (They are posted on this website as a separate file)

--Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11 AM to Noon; 2 P.M. to 2:30 P.M.
--Wednesdays, 2 P.M. to 4 P.M.
[NOTE: I do my best to always be in my office during these hours. But things, including impromptu meetings, come up. Before making a trip downtown, it is always a good idea to confirm that I will be available as planned.]
