Dean Weinstein came to California Western in 1992 with a background that combines years of experience as a practicing attorney and law teacher. Following graduation from law school, he spent the first five years of his career providing civil legal services to the indigent, first as staff attorney for Central Pennsylvania Legal Services in Reading, Pennsylvania, and then as managing attorney for the Lehigh Valley Legal Services in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Weinstein began his teaching career as a clinical law teacher first at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri, and then at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in Philadelphia. After leaving the University of Pennsylvania, he was a partner in a law firm in Allentown for more than 10 years before he came to California Western. Weinstein has been Associate Dean for Administration since January 2002.
