CWSL Student Network Account
Network Account
Your CWSL network account gives you access to the computers and network
resources of the school. These resources include:
- Email
- H: drive; personal storage space on the CWSL file server.
- Printers
- Legal research material.
Your network password is your key to your network account. Never
give your password to another person.
Your password must meet the following requirements:
It must be a minimum of eight characters
And it must use at least three of the following:
- Uppercase characters
- Lowercase characters
- Numbers
- Special characters: ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & *_ - + = ` | \ ( ) { } [ ] : ; "' < > , . ? /
For
example, "CWSLRocks!" is a good password. It has uppercase
letters, lowercase letters, and a special character, the exclamation
point.
If you need to change your password, you will need to see the computer
technician in the library computer lab. You will be required to show
I.D. before your password is changed, or any other changes are made to
your account.
Students are required to read and sign the Student Computer
Lab
Rules and Appropriate Use Form. Those students who do not
turn in the form will have their accounts disabled.
If
you withdraw from school, your network account will be disabled.
Notice will be sent to your CWSL email account informing you
when
the account will be disabled.
After graduation, your network account will remain open for one full
year after your date of graduation.
