SofTest-Mac Security Settings - California Western School of Law
SofTest and Macintosh Security Settings

When installing SofTest, you may get the following message:
"Install SofTest.mpkg" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.



This is a security feature to keep unwanted or unsecure programs from being installed on your computer.  In Mac OS X Mountain Lion and above, the default security settings may prevent SofTest from being installed.
Follow these steps to bypass the security setting:

Hold down the Control key, and then click on the Install SofTest icon.
You will get this menu.  Click Open.



When you click on Open, you will get this message:



Go ahead and click Open, and the SofTest Install program will run normally.
