Address/Name Change for F-1 Students

Rules/Regulations
Students must report a change of address within 10 days of their transfer to a new address. This is a BCIS regulation.

What You Must Do
1) Notify the M.C.L./LL.M. Office of your new address. Students must provide a physical address (no P.O. boxes, U-boxes or office addresses are allowed). If it is not possible to receive mail at your physical address, you must also provide a mailing address.  You may NOT use the CWSL address.

2) Update your address with the Registrar’s office.

Deadline
You must notify the M.C.L./LL.M. Office within 10 days of your move.  The M.C.L./LL.M. Office then has 21 days to enter your new information into the SEVIS database.
