Hawai’i Law Students Association (HLSA) is a student organization sponsored by the Student Bar Association (SBA) and is run by its student members. The purpose of HLSA is to provide law students with access to local culture through speaker events and social mixers where they can meet their fellow law students from Hawai’i. During upcoming semesters, HLSA will also help to provide students with information about taking the Hawai’i Bar Exam and seeking employment in the islands. HLSA has traditionally been composed of law students that are either ethnically Hawaiian, from Hawai’i, or have a common love or interest in the islands.
