California Western offers the following dual-degree and joint-degree programs in conjunction with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and San Diego State University (SDSU):
Offered jointly with San Diego State University's College of Business Administration, the J.D./MBA program is an intensive, integrated curriculum specifically designed for your interest in working in the interdisciplinary field of law and business.
Offered jointly with San Diego State University's School of Social Work, the J.D./M.S.W. program provides opportunities to focus on areas where law and social work regularly intersect such as child welfare, mental health, aging, and domestic violence.
Two program disciplines are offered, J.D./Ph.D in History and J.D./Ph.D in Political Science. The J.D./Ph.D. programs are offered jointly with the University of California, San Diego.
The joint Masters Degree in Health Law is built on the academic strength and reputation of the UCSD School of Medicine and California Western School of Law
Additionally, the law school encourages individualized dual-degree programs and works cooperatively in your pursuit of master's or doctoral degrees at other institutions to arrange for a dual degree.
This collaborative program, in which you alternate study on each campus, allows you to complete your study in less time than it would require to attain each degree separately. Some courses can be credited toward both degrees. You must apply separately to each institution. Admission to each program is both limited and selective.
For information about the dual degree programs contact the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
