California Western alumni are employed in all 50 states and 35 foreign countries. A significant number of distinguished alumni practice international law both in the United States and abroad. California Western alumni pursue diverse careers, including: Legal Advisory in the United Nations; International Tax Attorney for the Monsanto Company; Executive Director of the Human Rights and Constitutional Law Center; and Office of the Attorney General in Pago Pago and Samoa.
In addition, the International Legal Studies Program offers several opportunities for foreign lawyers. The Master of Comparative Laws/Master of Laws in Comparative Law Program (M.C.L./LL.M.) introduces foreign law graduates to the United States legal system and the practice of law in the United States.

The International Legal Studies Program offers a joint speaker series with the Institute for International, Comparative and Area Studies at the University of California, San Diego. The speaker series addresses prominent issues in international and comparative law.
