Under our flexible trimester system, students may begin school in either fall (August) or spring (January). A range of required and elective courses is offered each trimester. After the first year (two full-time trimesters), students can choose which trimester(s) to take off, do an internship, study abroad or accommodate family and personal obligations.
The program is designed for students who need to work while going to law school or students with family obligations that prevent them from attending full time. Students entering the part-time division take an established sequence of courses while completing the first year requirements (four trimesters). Part-time students take eight to eleven units per trimester and cannot transfer into the full-time division until after completion of the first three trimesters. The part-time program is a day program.
