This course is designed to teach skills to help improve performance in upper-division courses and on the bar examination. This course will also provide a foundation in California Civil Procedure, a subject testing on the California bar examination.

In order to practice student and exam-taking skills, students are required to submit written work, including briefs, outlines, and practice tests. Students also take a midterm and a final, which are graded by a former California bar exam grader.
