Thank you for choosing to submit your manuscript to The California Western Law Review. We are currently accepting submissions for consideration for the 2020-2021 academic year.
Submission
The California Western Law Review welcomes unsolicited manuscripts on topics of interest to the legal
profession. All pieces will be evaluated as expeditiously as possible, but we assume no responsibility for the
return of unsolicited manuscripts, unless requested. Manuscripts will be approved for publication only after a Lead
Article Board Review. If any part of the paper has been published elsewhere, the author must include this
information at the time of submission.

Guidelines
When you submit your manuscript, conformity with the following format is appreciated:
- Form: Manuscripts may be submitted via email in Microsoft Word. Allow margins of at least one
inch on all sides of the typed pages.
- Citations: Citations should conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation
(18th ed.).
- Style: Articles should be timely and provide an original, in-depth analysis of a topic of
interest, as opposed to a summary of previous research efforts.
- Vita: The title page should include the author's full name, his or her academic/professional
affiliations, and complete contact information for whom correspondence can be made.
