From time to time, California Western receives information about various scholarships that are supported by foundations, nonprofit organizations, law firms and networking groups.

When you search for alternative scholarship options there are existing tools and resources at your disposal. For example, the Law School Admission Council has compiled a list of diversity scholarships for prospective and current law students.

"For the People" Scholarship

Deadline: January 10, 2021

Morgan and Morgan is proud to present the 2021 "For the People" Scholarship. A $5,000 scholarship will be granted in the hopes of inspiring young lawyers to approach careers focused on working "for the people."

Hallie Gay Bagley Giving Scholarship

Deadline: January 15, 2021

Hallie Gay Bagley Giving was created to provide financial assistance to deserving students in their pursuit of educational opportunities. We offer a $500 academic scholarship to assist one student in their higher education journey.

Nancy Etz Scholarship

Deadline: February 1, 2021

To support and encourage students pursuing higher education, Nancy Etz awards this annual $1000 scholarship to those currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students in the U.S. The Nancy Etz Academic Scholarship was created to recognize an outstanding student and provide them the resources needed to advance in their disciplines and eventually pursue their dream careers.

Frank Roach Scholarship

Deadline: July 31, 2021

Dr. Frank Roach founded The Frank Roach Scholarship in 2020 in response to the rising cost of tuition. As a dentist, Dr. Roach knows firsthand the difficulties presented that come with obtaining higher education. As an advocate for improving individual access to education, the Frank Roach Scholarship wants to ensure that students from all parts of the economic spectrum can achieve their academic goals. One student will be chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship to be applied to their college/university expenses.
