CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ADMISSION TO CALIFORNIA WESTERN!

TAKE THE NEXT STEPS IN THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS...

1. CAREFULLY REVIEW YOUR ADMISSION DOCUMENTS

After reviewing your admission documents, notify the admissions office of any updates to your application including character and fitness issues and contact information.

2. LOG IN TO THE ADMISSIONS PORTAL

The admitted students’ website is a secure online portal where you’ll find resources to move you along in the enrollment process. You will be able to pay your seat deposit online using this portal. Be sure to have your student ID number handy.

3. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

Admitted students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA online as soon as possible. Our Financial Aid Office helps eligible students obtain federal and private student loans. Learn more about the financial aid process.

4. ACCEPT OUR INVITATION TO VISIT CAMPUS

The best way to see yourself here is by visiting. Look for our invitation to visit campus after being admitted. In March, we host Preview Weekend, which is an event designed especially for admitted students and their families to learn about student life, clinic and externship opportunities, career services, financial aid, and more! It’s also a great opportunity to get to know our community and meet faculty, current students, and alumni.

If you are unable to attend our Preview Weekend, please feel free to schedule a visit at your convenience. You’ll have a chance to meet with a counselor, tour the campus, and sit in a first year law class.

5. SCHEDULE AN ADMISSION COUNSELING PHONE MEETING

We are committed to helping make this transition as smooth as possible. Connect with your admissions counselor for an overview of what it’s like to be a student at California Western.

The school is in close proximity to residential communities, the downtown business district, courts, law firms, museums, shopping, and restaurants. Visit our housing page to learn more about San Diego neighborhoods and how to find housing.

7. MAKE IT OFFICIAL, SUBMIT YOUR DEPOSIT!
