California Western's Admissions Staff bring a wealth of experience and are eager to guide you through the law school admission process and help you prepare to study law. Christopher Baidoo Assistant Dean
Christopher Baidoo
Dean Christopher Baidoo received his Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University, his Master of Social Work from Indiana University, and Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. While at California Western, Dean Baidoo was the Executive Editor of the California Western International Law Journal, served as a large group tutor for both Contracts and Property, and was an extern for the Hon. William C. McCurine at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Since joining California Western, he has been responsible for admissions data modeling and prediction, application development, process improvement, prospective student cultivation and counseling, and overall management of the admissions office.

Shawnessy Westcott Negrotto Assistant Director
Shawnessy Westcott Negrotto
Originally from Alaska, Shawnessy Negrotto came to California Western in 2006, first serving as an Admission counselor and housing coordinator. Now, as Assistant Director of Admissions, Ms. Negrotto helps prospective students explore their interest in California Western by providing admission advising including arranging class visits and campus tours and discussing the application process. Additionally, she provides admitted students with resources to facilitate their housing search, from managing a database of local vacancies and students seeking roommates, to discussing the unique aspects of San Diegos neighborhoods. Ms. Negrotto is responsible for organizing our campus Preview Days, Orientation programs and scholarship events. During the fall, she attends recruiting events across the country and also serves on panels at workshops. Her favorite aspects about working at California Western include being part of an amazing team at the law school, meeting students from all over the US and helping them discover what makes CWSL a special place and networking with colleagues from other law schools. Prior to joining the California Western Admissions, Ms. Negrotto worked as an admissions advisor and recruiter at the University of Washington, Tacoma, where she earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. Shawnessy also holds a M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

Iris Fugate Assistant Director
Iris Fugate

Iris was born and raised in Southern California. She received her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of California, Irvine. After college, Iris immediately applied to law schools and received her JD from California Western School of Law in 2013. During her time at California Western, Iris focused first on public interest law with internships at the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program and Senator Barbara Boxer’s Office. She finished her time in law school focusing on Estate Planning and Taxation. Now, in addition to her work at the Admissions Office, Iris practices estate planning part time.

As the Assistant Director for Recruitment and Outreach, Iris communicates mainly with students who have not yet applied to law school. She helps educate and inform students about the application process as well as the multitude of ways prospective students could advance their careers by attending California Western. Iris coordinates the Fall travel schedule in which she and her colleagues travel across the country to meet prospective students and share information about CWSL. She also coordinates student visits to the campus in San Diego both in individual and group settings. Iris also facilitates the virtual face of the admissions office online through our Facebook and Twitter pages, blog entries and webinar series.

Susan O'Dean-Sekeres Admissions Assistant
Susan O'Dean-Sekeres
The other welcoming voice and great smile students encounter in Admissions belongs to Susan O'Dean-Sekeres. She was born in London and has also lived in South America and Germany. She moved to San Diego in 2001 and joined the Admissions staff at California Western in 2002. O'Dean-Sekeres is responsible for processing incoming applications, arranging campus tours, and answering phone queries from prospective students. She also assists as housing coordinator as needed.

Tony Duldulao Admissions Assistant
Tony Duldulao
Tony Duldulao began working at California Western in July of 2009. In January 2010, he joined the Admissions team as the Admissions Assistant. Tony is the first voice people hear when they call the office. He is also responsible for processing mail, applications, mailing out materials to prospective applicants and answering questions from callers and visitors to the office. Tony, who grew up in American Samoa, moved to San Diego in 1998. In American Samoa, he worked for Chicken of the Sea as the Inventory Manager and then later transferred to the corporate headquarters, in San Diego, where he was the Marketing Operations Manager. After nearly 10 years, Tony moved on to begin working at the corporate headquarters of Jack in the Box, in the Facilities Management department. Tony earned his B.A. from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, majoring in International Relations and Politics. He also received his MBA in International Business from Saint Joseph's University.
