Title of Presentation: Data Privacy - a Fundamental Human Right

As we have moved more and more into virtual reality our use of digital tools and platforms has significantly increased. We connect with each other by sharing pictures, videos, milestone moments, and now with COVID-19 more of our personal concerns and anxieties on social media. We have created our own brands with the publication of all of this content which we should own and control. Knowing who collects, transfers, uses, stores and/or has access to your personal data is your right, a fundamental human right. In this presentation, we will dive deeper into this notion as well as current data privacy laws, international and domestic.
