Administrative Law, Business Organizations, Business Planning, Telecommunications Law, International Business Transactions, and Land Use

Professor Andrea L. Johnson is a true pioneer in leveraging technology to improve legal education. She served as director of California Western’s Center for Intellectual Property, Technology, and Telecommunications Law, and was the first non-scientist summer faculty member at NASA’s Lewis Research Center, where she helped create a system that integrated technology into math and science curricula for middle and high school students. Johnson also created and taught the first distance-learning course at an American law school in 1996—using videoconferencing to connect two campuses and three outside sites—and founded the Trademark Law Clinic.
