Most students would not be able to afford law school without some form of financial assistance. The Financial Aid Office at California Western School of Law administers student loans and work-study programs, and also coordinates scholarships awarded by other departments, such as Admissions or Diversity Services.

Types of Financial Aid
Scholarships & Grants - Financial aid that doesn't have to be repaid (unless, for example, you withdraw from school and owe a refund)
Loans - Borrowed money for college or career school; you must repay your loans, with interest
Work-Study - A work program through which you earn money to help you pay for school
Veterans Benefits - Additional Financial Aid may be available to veterans, future military personnel, active duty personnel, or those related to veterans or active duty personnel.
Yellow Ribbon Program - California Western will continue its participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program for 2020-2021. This program allows students (an unlimited number for 2020-2021) who receive benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill to receive additional tuition assistance.
