CIP Client Kimberly Long’s Charges Dismissed
Kimberly Long

California Innocence Project (CIP) client Kimberly Long’s years-long legal battle has come to an end after the Riverside District Attorney’s Office chose not to re-prosecute. Long’s case has been dismissed after she spent seven years in prison for a murder she did not commit.

In Memoriam: Marjorie Castetter, Widow of Former Dean Robert Castetter
The Castetters

Marjorie Castetter, the widow of former California Western Dean Robert Castetter, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 7, at her home in La Mesa, Calif. Marge was known as the first lady of the law school and played an active role in supporting her late husband in the development of California Western during its most crucial and formative years.

Professor Andrea Freeman, author of SKIMMED – Breastfeeding, Race, and Injustice, and the pioneer of “racial food oppression” will be the keynote speaker at the March 12 California Western Law Review Symposium, SKIMMED. The online symposium will be discussing the issues raised by Freeman’s book, including food oppression, law and policy, critical race theory, health and reproductive rights, and feminist theory.
