Four CWSL students awarded prestigious 2017 SOAR for Justice Scholarship
Soar For Justice Scholarship Awards

Ana Raya, Taylor McElroy, Paulina Reyes, and a fourth student who prefers to remain anonymous received the prestigious SOAR for Justice Scholarship that recognizes law students who are survivors of domestic violence or committed to using their law degrees to help victims of abuse with their legal needs.

California Western Moot Court Teams Pick up Where they Left Off
Daniela Medina, Ryan Allein, Anthony Esquibel, Anthony Vargas

This past weekend, the appellate team comprising 3Ls Ryan Allein and Daniela Medina finished runner-up in the National Juvenile Law Moot Court Competition at Whittier Law, while 3Ls Anthony Vargas and Anthony Esquibel won the Texas Young Lawyers Association Regional Trial Championship—the law school’s second straight regional championship in this competition, resulting in CWSL’s advancement to the national championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
