Marjorie Castetter, the widow of former California Western Dean Robert Castetter, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 7, at her home in La Mesa, Calif. Marge was known as the first lady of the law school and played an active role in supporting her late husband in the development of California Western during its most crucial and formative years.

California Western Associate Dean for Experiential Learning James Cooper’s latest documentary film, co-directed and co-produced with Sebastián Vives del Solar, is being screened at the opening event of the upcoming San Diego Latino Film Festival. The documentary, Border Industrial Complex: Stories from the United States-Mexico Border, explores the bleak landscape of profit corporations and not-for-profit organizations working transnationally across the border.
