LL.M. and M.C.L. Programs for Foreign Lawyers

At California Western Law School our legal community is enhanced by foreign lawyers studying law with us in critical ways. Our LL.M. and M.C.L. Programs for Foreign Lawyers enrich an already diverse community and provide a deeper array of cultural experiences for all of our students. The Master of Laws in Comparative Law (LL.M.) and Master of Comparative Law (M.C.L.) Program is designed to prepare lawyers from other countries to work knowledgeably with lawyers in the United States on questions of common interest arising under either their own or the U.S. legal system.

Given our location on an international border and the Pacific Rim, we have long considered ourselves an international law school. We offer several specialized programs for lawyers from other countries who wish to know more about the U.S. legal system and study law in the U.S. These courses are offered in English and Spanish.
