With our focus on international law, many students spend a session learning about the law in other countries. To participate and receive credit, students must petition and receive approval by the Vice Dean for Academic & Student Affairs; the registrar can provide credit information and residency requirements.
Law School Consortium
The Consortium for Innovative Legal Education (CILE) is a group of private law schools: California Western School of Law, New England School of Law in Boston, South Texas College of Law in Houston, and Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN. Under its auspices, students may study abroad with European and U.S. professors and intern at British legal offices or The Hague.
Through the Consortium, students may take courses for transfer credit during several summer abroad programs:
