Whether you're considering applying to law school, a current California Western student, one of our distinguished alumni, or an employer seeking to hire practice-ready graduates, the Career and Professional Development Office (CPDO) is always here to help.

What Students and Alumni are Saying

Justin Kashou

"When it was time to apply for internships, I had no idea where to start. The Career and Professional Development Office was there to help me every step of the way. With the help of the CPDO, I was able to secure an internship at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. I can wholeheartedly say that I would not have gotten the internship without their help. The staff is friendly and more than willing to help in any way they can. When it came time to apply, they helped me edit my resume, cover letter, and even performed a mock interview with me. The mock interview allowed me to better prepare for the actual interview."
  – Justin Kashou, 2L

Erin Brandt

"The Career and Professional Development Office worked diligently to place me in internships and externships during my time as a student at California Western. They took the time to learn about me as an individual and identified my strengths as a future attorney. After graduating, the CPDO continued to work closely with me to find a firm that matched with my career goals and personality. The CPDO’s  guidance and connections to the San Diego legal community continue to be a valuable resource as a practicing attorney."
  – Erin Brandt, JD '15
