The Facilities Management department is dedicated to maintaining a safe and attractive campus environment. Offering a
wide range of services to the campus community, our department comprises Facilities Management staff, the
Maintenance Team, Security, and Mailroom services. Our diverse range of services includes maintenance, renovations,
improvements of the physical plant, campus safety and security, and mail services.
Campus buildings include a 50,000 sf library at 290 Cedar Street which holds more than 333,000 volumes, approximately
3,905 serial subscriptions, microforms currently equivalent to 154,000 volumes, audio and video tapes, computer
software, and interactive videos. The library also offers an excellent collaborative space and study rooms.
A separate administrative building at 225 Cedar Street houses faculty and administrative offices.
The classroom building at 350 Cedar Street was originally built in 1929 as an Elks Club, is historically registered,
and a well-known architectural icon. Renovations to this classroom building have provided several large lecture
halls as well as seminar space, room for 30 on-campus student organizations, an 1,840 square foot student lounge,
individual study rooms. Students enjoy an on-campus coffee cart, grab-and-go market, and
campus-wide wireless technology. (Due to COVID-19 guidelines, access to the coffee cart and grab-and-go market may
be restricted or limited.)
