Adam Bucci ’19 Appointed Deputy Attorney General with California Department of Justice

California Western School of Law congratulates Adam Bucci ’19 on his appointment as a Deputy Attorney General with the California Department of
Justice.
Bucci returns to criminal law after spending the past three years practicing consumer
class action litigation as a plaintiff's attorney. His interest in criminal practice
began during law school, where he interned with both the California Innocence Project
(now named California Western Innocence and Justice Clinic) and the San Diego County
District Attorney’s Office. Following graduation, he joined the San Diego County District
Attorney’s Office, where he focused on prosecuting domestic violence and child abuse
cases.
His new role with the California Department of Justice marks a return to the field
in which he began his legal career and reflects a continued commitment to public service.
We are proud to celebrate Bucci’s continued success and look forward to all he will
accomplish in this new role.
