Alumni Elected to Leadership Roles with San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association

Three alumni have been elected to leadership positions with the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association (SDLRLA) for the 2026-27 term. The association recently announced its incoming board of directors, whose terms will begin Nov. 1, 2026. Among those elected are Nereida M. Bowman ’13, who will serve as president; Leah W. Gonzales ’16, who was chosen as president-elect; and Agustin Peña ’12, who was elected as an at-large director. 

The appointments reflect the continued leadership and service of our alumni within San Diego's legal community. We congratulate Bowman, Gonzales, and Peña on their elections and wish them success as they help guide SDLRLA's work in support of Latino legal professionals, law students, and the broader community.
