SAN DIEGO (May 2, 2025) -- California Western School of Law (CWSL) is proud to support graduates who dedicate their careers to serving the public interest. CWSL's Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP), the Adrianne Baker Fellowship, helps ease the financial burden of student loans for alumni working in legal aid, legal services, or nonprofit advocacy and policy organizations.

The program is designed to make it more feasible for our graduates to take on critical roles defending the rights of the underrepresented, despite the financial challenges often associated with public interest work.

      • Graduates must apply within ten years of completing their J.D.
      • Must have worked full-time for at least 12 consecutive months in a qualifying nonprofit legal or policy role.
     • Must have a minimum of $50,000 in certified law school debt.
     • Government positions are not eligible.
     • Award amounts vary each year depending on the number of applicants and available funding.

Through LRAP, California Western reaffirms its commitment to supporting alumni in fulfilling their passion for justice and service.
