California Western School of Law Celebrates the Relaunch of the Innocence and Justice Clinic

We are incredibly proud of the California Western Innocence and Justice Clinic and
the impactful event it hosted, "A Night with the Innocence and Justice Clinic," celebrating
the clinic's relaunch.
The evening opened with the panel, "Innocence Work as a Catalyst for Change," featuring
Professor Amy Kimpel of California Western School of Law, Professor Ty Alper of Berkeley Law, and Professor Alexis Hoag-Fordjour of Brooklyn Law School, who led a thoughtful discussion on how innocence work drives
meaningful change within the justice system.
The program was followed by a well-attended reception where guests continued the conversation,
alongside an engaging art exhibition presented by SDSU’s Prison Arts Collective.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in support of this important work, and to KPBS
for highlighting the reception and speaking with those involved in the clinic and
event. Read more here.
