California Western Community Law Project (CLP) recognized key volunteers who have contributed to its mission to provide pro-bono legal services to low-income individuals across the greater San Diego area. The clinic recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, serving more than 10,000 clients over the past 20 years.

The luncheon brought together students, faculty, and community partners to recognize the meaningful contributions of CLP volunteers. The program included opening remarks, a student reflection from Fall 2025 CLP Clinical Intern 3L Alexa Correa, and award presentations highlighting outstanding service.

“In our busy world, I know that everyone has many competing priorities,” said Dana Sisitsky, Clinical Professor and Executive Director of CLP. “Our staff is grateful that our volunteers have chosen to invest their time with the Community Law Project. Their contributions help our clients navigate difficult situations and help our students become better advocates.”
