
CWSL Competitive Advocacy Teams Achieve National and Regional Success

California Western School of Law congratulates its Competitive Advocacy Program teams
for outstanding performances in recent competitions.
The Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team competed in the 2026 Philip
C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition in Atlanta, Georgia, from March 5–8.
The CWSL team earned 10th place for best memorial, and team member Nicolas Tavano
Hall received a top oralist award.
Members of the Appellate Team competed in the UC Davis School of Law Asylum and Refugee
Law National Moot Court Competition in Sacramento, California, from March 7–8 and
finished as quarter-finalists.
Members of the Trial Team competed in the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition in
Portland, Oregon, from March 5–8 and finished as regional finalists.
These accomplishments reflect the skill, dedication, and hard work of CWSL students
across all areas of competitive advocacy.
