Remembering Dean Ernest C. Friesen

California Western School of Law mourns the passing of Ernest C. Friesen, who served as Dean from 1980 to 1986, as well as the founding dean of Whittier Law School and the National Judicial College. Dean Friesen was a highly regarded scholar and teacher of federal courts and administrative law. Dean Friesen passed away at age 97 in December.
