
Professor Susan Bisom-Rapp Elected a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers

SAN DIEGO (June 23, 2025) -- Congratulations to California Western School of Law Professor Susan Bisom-Rapp, who has been elected a Fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers (CLEL). CLEL is a learned society "honoring the leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of Labor and Employment Law." Founded in 1995, CLEL is comprised of over 1000 Workplace Law experts drawn from practice and academia. Professor Bisom-Rapp noted, "I am honored by the recognition of my peers across the country and look forward to active participation in the College." She will attend an induction ceremony in November in Denver, CO at the Denver Art Museum. In addition to CLEL, Professor Bisom-Rapp is an elected Fellow or Member of three other learned societies: the American Law Institute, the American Bar Foundation, and the Labor Law Group. In 2019, she received the national Paul Miller Memorial Award for Outstanding Academic and Public Contributions to the Field of Labor and Employment Law Scholarship. Professor Bisom-Rapp is California Western's Dean Steven R. Smith Professor of Law. She is a scholar in the field of international and comparative labor and employment law.
