CWSL Professor Shawn Fields Interviewed by KPBS

California Western School of Law Associate Dean of Research and Faculty Development and Professor of Law Shawn Fields was interviewed by NPR’s San Diego affiliate, KPBS. The interview focused on the San Diego Police Department’s $30 million settlement in the police shooting death of 16-year-old Konoa Wilson. Professor Fields provided context for this settlement, which appears to be the largest of its kind in U.S. history, and situated it within the larger police reform and accountability movement. The interview aired live on radio on KPBS Midday Edition and was rebroadcast on television on KPBS Evening Edition.
