California Western School of Law (CWSL) 2L Mackayla Wall was awarded the “Justice Pathways Scholarship” by the California Lawyers Foundation (CLF).

In a press release, CLF said scholarships were awarded to students “throughout the state who have demonstrated a significant interest in civics engagement and making an impact on the future of California’s judicial system.”

Applicants had to meet several criteria to be considered, such as: grades, volunteer experience, work history, community connections, and written essays about their commitments to the rule of law and judicial branch.
