Forbes Advisor Names Two Alumni Top Attorneys in San Diego

Forbes Advisor has recognized Christian M. Ham ’02 and Jan Ronis ’71 as two of 2023’s Top Ten DUI Attorneys in San Diego, CA. 

Christian Ham runs his own firm and has over 20 years of experience in federal and state criminal defense. Forbes noted that Christian has represented clients who faced kidnap for ransom charges, drug trafficking, and conspiracy to commit murder. He has also represented clients who faced extended sentences and prison without the possibility of parole.

Christian has been recognized as a Super Lawyer every year since 2018, by The National Trial Lawyers as one of its “Top 40 Under 40,” and by the San Diego Daily Transcript as one of the city’s “Top Attorneys in Criminal Law”. He is a member of the National Association of Trial Lawyers and of the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar Association. 

Jan Ronis and his father have run the Law Offices of Ronis & Ronis since 1972, and Jan has been a Certified Specialist in criminal law since 1977.
Forbes noted that Jan has participated in over 300 jury trials and was recently honored by the California Bar Association for 30 years of specialization in criminal defense. He has also worked extensively in federal district courts.

Jan is a member of the California Attorneys of Criminal Justice and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is the former President of the South Bay Bar Association. He has also been featured as a guest commentator on criminal cases on CNN, Court TV, ABC, and Fox News Network.
