
CWSL Faculty Present Scholarship at LatCrit

Four California Western School of Law (CWSL) professors presented their scholarship at the Latina and Latino Critical Legal Theory (“LatCrit”) biennial conference in Denver, Colorado.
Professor Emily Behzadi Cárdenas presented her article, “Cultural Heritage on the Border: Baja, California and the Border Monuments.”
Professor Pooja Dadhania presented her work-in-progress, “Inclusive Dialogues on Asylum Interpretation,” (co-authored with Professor Hillary Mellinger).
Professor Amy Kimpel presented her article, “Lone Star Lessons,” 40 Georgetown Immigration Law Journal (forthcoming 2026).
Professor Nancy Marcus presented her article, “Trump’s War on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Unconstitutional Usurpation Through Obfuscation,” 31 Texas Journal of Civil Liberties and Civil Rights (forthcoming 2026).
